D15b bearing
i need to replace the crank and rod bearings for my d15b i read that the d15b7 bearings work for the crank and the d16z6 work for the rods can anyone confirm this?
You will need to measure the rods and crank and see what bearings you need. There are different sizes depending on how bad the parts are worn. Once you've measured everything you can call the dealer and find out which ones you need for the different rods and main caps.
They use colors to seperate the different sizes, and you may need many different sizes depending on how worn out your engine is.

the 92-95 D15B was wired the same as the Z6. It's a 100% direct swap.

Use B7 main bearings and Z6 rod bearings. You're welcome!
And you should plastigauge your bearings. Standard bearing are equivalent to like a green bearing. Middle of the road, they work for a lot of people, but if it was polished, at least make sure. Plastigauge is cheap, just do it to be safe.

nobody can tell you exactly what bearing to put in your motor dude, you need to measure the bores, then subtract the bearing thickness and find out whats left over, this will tell you your clearances. If you are unsure of this, have a machine shop measure it for you, and they can tell you what bearing to buy to give you the proper sizing. My motor has 4 different colored bearings in it if that tells you anything.
