Default 99 Civic - Should I swap my rear trailer bushings?

I had my Civ into the local dealer today to get a once-over. It's got about 147k on it. They did pretty solid for me: flushing and changing my brake fluid and tranny fluid for like 59 and 39 respectively.

They also strongly recommended a rear trailer arm bushing swap, but I declined. Mostly, I'd rather try myself vs pay them 380 bucks. But secondly, I haven't noticed any rolling or squeaking/clunking from the back end.

What do you guys think? This is strictly a commuter/daily driver and is BONE stock at the moment. If I don't have any crazy noises or rolling, I guess my mind tells me to wait on it.

Also, since I'm purely a honda noob, can somebody break down the abbreviations for me? My '99 Civic DX is an "EK" ?? is that right?

How much did you get for it if you don't mind me asking?

I got my 99 DX for 2 grand which apparently a very good deal?

sold it for 3 grand with a reconstructed title...when i got it the motor was smashed tranny cracked and both frame rails were buckled...i bought it for a hundred bucks and luckily i worked at a body shop at the time so i had full access to the frame rack after hours and whole sale body parts and a paint booth...got an engine and tranny from the junk yard...y7 like yours but i used the y8 head off the original engine to retain the vtec (and it was a mean mini me) in the car..if the title didnt say reconstructed you would have never known it was wrecked..all lines matched perfect and drove straight as an arrow....so if u paid 2gs and ur car is clean with a clear title then yea u got a deal

I can tell you that I just had my rear bushings replaced last month. I didn't know that they were bad ( no noises or anything also). Car corners 1000 times better now. My brother is a Honda tech and did them. He hates doing them because they won't come out. Good luck.
