hey guys i wanted to put my rubber strip from the factory hood on my cf hood. i know its been done before. just wondering what they did glue screws or what. i have a seibon hood and if u look close there are tiny dimples where u could drill to put the stripping on. any info or pics will help

don't know if i can drill it, want to make sure. don't want to drill through hood

Use the weather striping glue you would use on the door gaps? It's a black and flexible adhesive, holds pretty well.

dude those diples are there fore you to tap in a hole for the strip! just drill it a little and the nipples on the strip plug in.

 

It gets tacky in a few minutes and fully cures in about 24 hours.

 

well i tried to drill one hole not enough room to make a deep hole. it got close to the top of the hood so i stopped. all the others look the same. any ideas

 

i guess the hell with it, sense no one can help me out

 

The weather stripping glue would be your best bet.

 

maybe try 3m molding tape
