Default '94 Del Sol is squatting in the back.

Recently, I noticed that the gap between my tires and the wheel wells is greater in the front than in the back. I mean, the car is not scraping in the rear- nothing that dramatic. But when I drive around at night, I can see the cut-off from my projectors (I retrofitted HID's into the headlamps) ascending with distance. So, the look doesn't really bother me, and the ride quality has not suffered. My main concern is safety. Since the back of the car dipped, the aiming of the headlights was thrown off, and I don't want to blind people at night. My suspicion is that I need new coil springs. Do you guys agree?

The car does have 17" rims, if it makes a difference. I installed them about two years ago and the car has been perfectly fine until now. Other than that, the chassis is stock.

Sounds like your springs might be sagging. Time for Koni/GC!

This is my daily driver, so I'm not too concerned with performance, and I DEFINITELY DO NOT want to lower the car at all. What do you guys think about something like this:

NO NO NO NO NO... You will be so disapointed... and they will only cause your stock shocks to blow within 6 months to a year... ask me how I know... bought a car with them on it and it was the most uncomfortable ride I've ever experianced... so let me repeat... NO NO NO NO NO NO

Thanks for the heads up. So what would you recommend as a reasonable option?

well if you dont care about performance and dont want to lower it, get oem springs. or maybe something like H&R OE Spec, They only lower it a tiny amount.
