any one running lowes lexan sheets ?
just found these. not too bad of a price. Im wondering if it would work decently or get super scratched up fast. I only plan on doing the rear glass in my crx.

I did the rear glass of my CRX with that stuff. works awesome.
I don't think (for that price) it has scratch resistance, you will need to be careful with it.

Im pretty sure you could clear coat it just like you would a car and it wouldnt scratch as easily. Just sand it with 1200 and clear it. I bet it works
The Lowes lexan isn't scratch resistant. I use it for making templates but have used it on back windows before.
If you want to save money on the side windows and aren't in a hurry, check often to see what large cut sheets they have. I picked up a 2x3 piece this week that was originally $67 (don't recall the original size before it was cut) but only paid $2.00 for it.
Also drill it on a press. I use a drillpress with the speed set for plastic and it comes out much nicer than drilling by hand.

I have thought of this doing this numerous times. The FAL kit is pretty expensive. How well do you guys think this would work for a DA9's hatch window. I dont think the quarter windows would be a problem.

glad to hear you have used it redboost. I am going to do it but that will be down the road. Im hoping someone would just break out my windows so I don't have to do it. I don't wana spend the time pulling them out but Id hate to break them out since they are all in good shape.
just the rear hatch glass (both pieces) and the quarter windows.
there is actually a ef hatch in salem thats a complete bucket but its daily driven with lexan on all the rear windows so Im thinking I could get away with it on my crx.
