Default shaking at take off

Wierd thing happened this morning. As I let out the clutch to take off normally, the car shook a few times, and I heard a kind of knocking. Not sure what it was but it did it in first and a little bit in second gear. I think it went away after the car was warmed up but this has never happened before so it scared me.
It's not an engine problem, but hopefully just a cv/suspension problem, and not something in the tranny. Any ideas?

I've had a similar thing happen once in a while. The car will shudder when engaging the clutch on take off from a stand still. I think it's the clutch chattering. For me, it might do it once every two weeks. Other than that, the clutch is still strong. I've got over 250,000 miles on it so far.

**** that doesn't sound good. I've got 135k on my clutch but I haven't noticed any kind of wear on it. And yesterday I jacked up my car and saw the CV boot was ripped and had a huge gash in it so I had that replaced. I hope that was all it is, cause I don't have the money for a new clutch right now.

Another question, anyone know why I'm replacing my axles so often? THat's the third time I've replaced the driver's side. 1st was when I just got the car 2.5yrs ago, second in Feb., and now yesterday. Seems kind often, wouldn't you say?

Damn, 250k? 125k? Mine is already slipping and my car has 31,000! How hard do you guys drive your cars? I have a hook up with spoon, so i'm thinking about getting the Spoon Sports clutch and clutch cover... what do you guys think?

I beat the **** out of my car everywhere I go, mainly cause the engine's so weak. But as long as you're good at rev matching and shifting smooth, there shouldn't be any problems with extended life.

clutches wear out fast b/c people ride the clutch/dont know how to match revs/slip the clutch.
