I been looking around to solve my problem but can't really find it. So, my friend's 1990 Acura Integra LS is running all funky like if the O2 sensor is bad or MAP sensor is bad. It studers, shakes, and seems like it's missing firing. When the engine is fullly warm it wil die from idle. We replace spark plug wires, spark plugs, dizzy, and we clean the IAVC. Nothing change and there is NO CEL. The LED light on the ECU does blink 6, 1, and 13 or 6 and 23... We also reseted the ECU by disconnecting it and let it sit overnight and reconnecting it, but the same problem exist. So, my guess is that the fuel filter is bad, or maybe the O2 sensor is bad but not giving a CEL for it, or the ECU took a ****... What do you guys think?

regardless of the mil light being illuminated or not, you do/did have codes stored. probably going to be at least a misfire code in there. find out what those codes are and report back

Got my source from herehttps://honda-tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=978933
6 ECT - water temperature sensor
1 O2A - Oxygen sensor #1
13 BARO - atmospheric pressure sensor
So, I don't it is 23 since 90 integra didn't come with a knock sensor. The only that kind of throws me up is usually when the ECU blinks you a code it will do it from the lowest code to the highest but this goes from 6 to 1 to 13... I have not done a compression test on it.

check your valve adjustments...just rebuilt my motor ran really loose valve lash at first and had same symptoms..after adjustment on valves i had to play with idle adjustment screw to get idle proper.

test resistance first cold, then hot, with a blowdryer. check to see if your readings fall within spec
the o2 sensor code is likely related to an issue with the ect. check the ect first and go from there

OH damn! I feel hella dumb posting this now. Ok, so I told my friend which order to put the spark plug wires
3 4
1 2
and he had 4 and 3 mix. So, I swapped them back and car runs fine now with no LED light blinking. Thanks for the help anyways.... lol.

Kinda explains why there was no CEL.
