so last night I started removing the LCA because on of the bolts for the front stabilizer broke off inside. ball joints and strut came off no problem but when I got to the bolt that connects to the subfame the bolt seams to have welded itself to the bushing inside
I cut through the bolt with an angle grinder and removed the LCA.

Maybe try a bolt extractor.

I would soak, heat/cool, everything, etc. before considering to cut a bolt. Getting whatever is left out is a pain.

Also, you can take your bumper off and remove the nut holding the bar on.
Then you can pull the LCA and bar off together and work on them out in the open.

Maybe try Marvel Mystery? I've used both PB Blaster and Marvel and there have been a couple of instances where Marvel worked when PB didn't. Also, you might try relieving the tension off the crossmember end of the stabilizer bar. It might let you wiggle it a bit since it looks like you already got the other bolt out.

no the other bolt broke off inside the Lower control arm, that and bad bushings is why I am replacing it, plus i have a good one

but here are the pics of the bolt stuck in the subframe, its a real bitch trying to get in there with anything, but maybe after i pull the upper ball joint and strut i will have more room to work

but back to the subframe.....
here are the pics
[IMG][/IMG]

should I try to cut off the head of the bolt then pop it out with a punch? any better ideas cuz its hard to get my angle grinder in there

Also I have removed the two brackets holding the radiator in place and just slid it over since part of it was blocking access to the nut on the stabilizer bar under the bumper (which did not need to be removed)

I am having a difficult time getting any leverage on the stabilizer bar since the LCA is not attached to anything and the whole bar just rotates slightly im going to soak in it PB and try again
