I have a 1990 Honda CRX HF with a JDM B16A with a Y1 tranny . The speedometer dosnt work and the guy i bought it off of said its because the VSS is electronic and i need a cable one. My question is where can i find the part for my transmission vss? Im replacing the clutch this week and would like to do that speed sensor as well.

 

get the vss from any of the following vehicles:
88-91 CRX (all models)
88-91 Civic (all models)
90-93 Integra (all models)

 

Good luck with that very hard to find and if at all possible get the speedo cable along with the sensor cause the cable is very hard to find from Honda

 

noobs. these are a dime a dozen at the junkyard. and brand new aftermarket ones cost less than $30 at the autoparts store. just because its a jdm transmission, doesnt mean he HAS to have a jdm speed sensor.

wutre you talking about, i ordered a BRAND new cable from honda for 27 plus tax
shipping was free because i picked it up at the dealer. and u can get the VSS from any junkyard
