Default 1991 Honda Civic Hatchback DX Build

It started in March, of 2010. The mod itch bit me and it happened on my 1991 Honda Civic Hatchback DX.
Purchased a B-series, and it was a steal! Cracked open the motor and had no sludge!
Came with a y1 transmission and obd0 plugs.

Swapped 2 weeks later.

75k miles on chassis.
Yeah. You heard me right and the low miles show how clean this car is.

Approximately same mileage on engine, I'm sure.
Car was purchased out of California and CarFax says it has only ever been registered there.
Absolutely NO rust anywhere. Has NEVER been driven in snow while in the Midwest.
Not one spec of bondo, straightest body I've ever seen on an EF.

These are the mods I've done to my car since March, 2010.

Drivetrain: [MARCH/2010]
Estimated; City33mpg/Highway41mpg -
B16A VTEC. 170 hp 1.6L (100hp/liter). All stock, runs great. It's the 5 million series 4g Civic/CRX SiR.
PW0 OBD-0 ECU. Factory 7800 rpm rev limit.
Y1 close ratio 5-speed trans with 4.40:1 ring and pinion (open diff).
B&M short shifter with Energy Suspension poly bushings. [Brand New]
Raxles.com CV-shafts.[Brand New]
Hasport black-anodized aluminum engine mounts with 62A durometer poly bushings. [Brand New]
Reshaped, reinforced, and welded OEM forward crossmember.

Recent front drive hub bearings. [DEC/2010]
Recent stock replacement radiator and hoses. [DEC/2010]
Recent TPS replacement with a Blox TPS. [DEC/2010]
Recent spark plug wire replacement with blue NGK. [DEC/2010]
Recent Spark plug replacement. [DEC/2010]

Exhaust: [APRIL/2010]
DC Sports 4-into-1 header with 2.1" collector.
Custom Redshift Motorsports full length 2.25" stainless steel modular exhaust.
All mandrel bends, low-restriction metal substrate 'race' catalytic converter.
Vibrant Performance chambered rear muffler. Flat clamp connections. Has a nice deep tone down low and sounds great revved up.

Suspension: [APRIL/2010]
Koni Sports (yellows) with factory SPSS 'race' valving and body shortening.
Ground Control threaded spring perches.
Eibach 325 lb/in front springs and 400 lb/in rear springs. Same balance as typical ST setup but slightly softer and slightly more ride height. Can easily be lowered if desired.
Energy Suspension poly bushings throughout.
New OEM rear trailing arm main bushings.
Suspension Techniques 22mm rear anti-roll bar. Spherical bearing end links.
Ground Control offset upper spring mounts (rear only).
Originally had power steering but converted to manual.
Recent wheel bearing replacement. Passenger side has new knuckle.

Brakes: [APRIL/2010]
Stock Si discs front and rear. Lots of pad and rotor left, no pulsing.
Brand new rotors in March of 2010.

Wheels/Tires: [MARCH/2010]
I received these set of wheels included in my purchase.
Falken Hanabi 15x7. 11 lbs/ea. All in excellent condition.
Falken RT615 Azenis 205/50-15 tires. Replacing all tires somewhere after Christmas holiday.

Exterior:
All stock. Just how I like it.
People that modify the exterior of their car with fancy bolt ons ruin the simplicic beauty of what Honda has to offer.

[OCT/2010]
I purchased a full Yakima Roof Rack with 2 viper bike trays.
$500 alone worth just for the roof rack.

Interior:
Full interior.
Bolstered seats from an Si. Fabric in great shape. Practically mint.
Grant 13" steering wheel. Stock 15" steering wheel included.
Honda 1000 AM/FM cassette with front speakers. Yeah, really.
JDM Rear speaker pods. [DEC/2010]
Crank windows.
No Sunroof.

I spent approximately $5000-ish in parts here. It doesn't seem like it but I guess it's worth it.

In the next few months, I'll be doing more to it. I'll update everyone.

I've never created a build thread, this is my first.
Thank you all for the positive comments. More pictures delivered!
& I was actually thinking about selling it. But now Spring has arrived, the Honda itch got the best of me.

Very nice car. I think that the old rims looked better though, i dont know, more my style. i never was a polished lip type of guy.. Just my opinion. Super clean and sexy hatch though!

What are the future plans?

Rims make the car more tough. Good choice
