My vehicle has a 1994 d16z6 with a d15b7 transmission.while accelerating in first, there is a loud whining noise until I shift.afterwards I won't hear it. Then while decelerating in second with no load, it will pop out. Please give me any help you can. Thanks.

 

Ensure there is oil in it, should be a no-brainer.

Excessive thrust of the mainshaft and/or countershaft assemblies, remove the transaxle and inspect bearings/gears. Look at the lapping pattern of the gear teeth during removal, and the sides of the gears for rubbing. Excessive iwear of the gear teeth will create noise and may require gearset replacement. First is most notorious, due to its lower tooth pitch.
