i have a recently converted rdh with no obd2 plug for smog.
how do i go about gettin one so i dont have to do an illegal smog

 

Is your motor oBd2 or converted to obd2?

 

Well, obviously if you're missing the plug, you'll need the plug and all the wiring associated with it to make it work.

 

I don't want that to come off the wrong way but I don't think there's a way around it. They link to your ECU and it has to give certain information.

 

Well before any wiring or anything gotta know what car? What motor? There is no info to go off of..

Please post the state and area where you live along with the make and model of the car.

FYI, in Virginia, emissions inspection is required is Northern VA, but not anywhere else in the state...

If your car predated OBD2, you shouldn't be prohibited from passing an emissions inspection.

 

is your car obd2a or obd2b??
