I have a b16 head on a b18a1 block. i looked at coolant diagrams for both engines but im still lost. Do i have to use the b16 thermostat housing? Im using the LS one and cant figure out what hose goes to the two ports on the housing closest to the water pipe. I have the sensor hooked as well as one hose going from the therm. To the intake manifold. Also the fan switch on the head under the vtec solonoid....theres no plug on my harness for it. Do i have to extend wires for it? Any help with the coolant hoses will be appreciated cause im stumped and need to start my car.

To answer your question, it appears in this diagram that one hose #3 goes from the housing up to the intake manifold flange, while the other hose #6 goes up to the throttle body.
