I just bought an oem del sol spoiler, just wondering what mounting hardware i would need to install this.

 

If it's like any other OEM spoiler, you need to drill then use acorn nuts to secure it. You'll most likely need a new spoiler gasket to prevent water from leaking through the drilled holes.

 

After replacing mine on my EJ8 (last owner installed some shitty certafit type wing), I can tell you that even though you need to adjust the bolts a lot to get the right fit, those bolts will break. So, I have three OEM bolts and a regular hexagonal head bolt on my wing. Also, if it's used, the seals on the wing will be flat and will no longer contour like they should. I cut and placed some roofing rubber under the bases.

 

Well, the thing i am confused about the most are the side mounts, because after looking at a few other del sols with this wing, it looks like there is a pillar bracket on each side of the wing plus the 2 mounts it already has in the middle.
