OK so, many common members, but mostly new members, in numerous threads are always asking the typical wheel setup/suspension questions that rarely get looked at and answered... well here is the thread for you.

- Don't make this a picture thread, try and keep chit-chat minimal (take to pm's) and only post on whats asked below.
- Take this thread as a log book where you can look through the pages of setups comparing peoples stance to fully grasp which look/ride quality you want to achieve.
- This thread is an information dump, not a place to start fights. Please keep your opinions and negative commentary to yourself.
- Note: ALL slammed applications quality of ride is NOT comparable to that of stock/moderate applications. *The description will be understood that we are talking good ride quality in the slammed sense*

Additional comments about your setup: This setup is maxed completely in the rear with little play in the front and still rides well on decent roads. Bumps are heightened and dips/potholes are always avoided. Pulling of front fenders to clear wheels, major pulling and rolling in rear for fitment.
Overall rating of your setup (1-10): 8

Just sayin' in case anyone comes in here looking for some sort of "magical" setup that will allow riding slammed with a smooth ride. It is physically impossible to achieve on a Honda.

 

^truth be told, BUT for those that do and are okay with a lessened quality of ride, the description will be known that we are talking *good ride quality in the slammed sense* not comparable to stock/moderate height.

Additional comments about your setup: Still can go down about a half inch in the rear and about 1 inch in the front,with out taking links out,fenders are rolled only no pull at all.To me rides pretty good,but yes bumps and dip i try to avoid,only rubs when doin full u turns hehe,so i try to avoid doin that

Tire specs: 195/ 50 Kumho Ast
Suspension setup: Stock eg shocks, Cheap *** R1 racing sleeves (500 front / 400 rear) chopped down rear shock collars, custom oem tophats. Cranked all the way down.
Additional comments about your setup: Rides really good for a $50 setup (not bouncy at all). ***Avoid potholes at all cost or oil pans die a quick and painful death.

 

Wheels: Advan RG-11 REPLICAS
Specs (i.e. size, width, offsets): 16x7 +40
Tire specs: 205/45/16 Yokohama Parada Spec-II and Hankook Ventus RS-II
Suspension setup: Function and Form Type Ones
Camber specs: Whatever it is, no camber kits
Additional comments about your setup: Rears will always have more room to drop than front. I believe I still have room to go a bit lower. Front shocks bottom out but very rarely. Ride is pretty comfortable for what it is and its not bouncy at all. Fenders are rolled and pulled, same for the rears. It wasnt necessary but I want to run 225's int he future.

 

good start.. most interesting to me is how the car feels, drives and rubs.

Suspension setup: Koni Yellows and GC Coilovers
Camber specs: Unsure, havent aligned it yet
Notes: Front and rear fenders are rolled, can go lower but this is at its current winter height.

 

This thread isn't meant to be specific to certain "aggressive" fitments. I'm pretty sure the OP just wanted to make a kind of database for various suspension AND wheel setups, with pics and specs included, so that people can see what various setups look like. Despite the name of the thread and the slang meaning of "stance", it really just refers to how a car sits, whether someone feels said stance is good or not.

I do NOT condone tire stretching, and I'll go ahead and contribute my setup:

Wheels: Rota Circuit 10 Bronze
Specs (i.e. size, width, offsets): 16x7", not sure of offset, somewhere between +35 and +42mm I think
Tire specs: 205/45-16 Dunlop Direzza DZ101
Suspension setup: OTS Koni Sport (yellow) dampers, OEM GS-R front springs, OEM ITR rear springs
Camber specs: A touch over -2° front and a little under -2° rear
Additional comments about your setup: Required hammering the frame rail seam flat in the fender wells to prevent stock size 195/55-15 tires on OEM wheels from rubbing/scraping on uneven driveways. No rubbing issues at all with 205/45-16 other than very minor rubs at full turning lock (only happens in parking lots). Koni shocks are set to the lowest perch height all around.

 

Rims: Rota Circuit 10
Offset: +40 Front, +45 Rear (I think)
Tires: 195/50/15 Weslake front, 195/50/15 Yoko S-Drive rear
Spacers: Ichiba:15mm up front, 10mm in rear w/ extended studs.
Suspension: NR-G Coilover Sleeves, Tokico HP shocks
Camber: Whatever it is. Lol.
Other: Sleeves are completely bottomed out. Rear sleeves have the bottom nut removed to make the car more level. Lol. Rides okay. Pretty stiff, but doesn't bottom out or bounce.

 

Since I get PMs every once in a while asking about my setup....

Wheels: Desmond Regamaster Evos
Specs (i.e. size, width, offsets): 16x7 +35 5mm spacers up front
Tire specs: 205/40/16 Falken Azenis RT-615s
Suspension setup: Tanabe Sustec Pro Coilovers
Camber specs: (-2.2) front (-1.5) rear
Additional comments about your setup: Still have an 1 1/2" of coilover left all around, no rubbing, decent ride considering the spring rates, and just the right height to drive around with no worries. The front fender tabs are bent in, they are flared a tiny bit from the tire rubbing when it was lower, no fender liners up front, and the rear is completely stock, no rolling.

I'm pretty sure my stepdad at the time did it. He was pretty high up in the military and knew there would be major re-percussions if he caused bodily harm on a minor, so instead took it out on my clean bodied hatch I had just bought from an old man.....

Suspension setup: Progress CS-2 coilovers 350/350 It rides great
Camber specs: Within factory spec. No camber kits
Additional comments about your setup: I need to hammer the frame rail seam flat in the fender wells so I can go about an 1" lower and not ruin tires. I still have 2" left on the coilovers. Fenders are rolled front and rear but not required. I had the body shop do it while it was getting painted.
