hi guys, I just bought a sandrail with a honda engine and trans. engine # is ef 1022049. best I can tell it is a 1.6l from 75-79 accord. reverse is shot so I want to either buy a new trans or have it rebuilt. basically I am wondering what type of transmission is on the engine for those yrs and if anyone has one or can recommend a good place to get it rebuilt. I live in ontario calif thanks

 

Getting it rebuilt could be a problem due to parts availability. Check with Synchrotech to see if they have any ready to go.

 

We no longer build this model due to obsolete parts.

Check with Anaheim Gear, I think they may still do them.

 

what type of trans is it called, I have seen B series k series. will check with anaheim gear this morning
