So after troubleshooting
i found this

so i need a new one but can anyone tell me where to find one exactly like this?..
its a b16a engine

 

O'Reilly's will run the VINs for your car because theres like three or four different ones

 

Oh and was your car just not getting fuel or not getting spark?

 

Lets just say It doesn't have the VINs because it really doesnt lol id there any other way to find out
I think it wasnt giving spark and fuel not to sure on the fuel though
but im positive it wasnt giving spark

 

Thats what my cars doin now! Might be my problem. But your relay might have a part number on the side. Or just bring it in and they can match the plug for the stock pictures. I used to work there lol

 

get one from Honda. Tell them the year make and model. They should be able to find one for you. They're about 70 bucks.

Well the showed me a picture of the relay off a 90 civic which is what i drive
and it was much smaller
so now im guessing since i have a b16a swap the guy before me must have switched it or something
Does anybody know a honda car model with the same looking relay?..

 

Any main relay from an EF should work. Or just get one from Honda as stated above.
Also, that relay is not changed when a swap is performed.

 

I thought so Ill just go back to autozone tomorrow
but i was also wondering if the main relay can be the cause of my car not starting?...

I got mine pulled out now. My check engine light comes on with the key and stays on. Dont that mean the relays bad

 

I'm gonna check the ECU ground and the A7 pin first. But i'm pretty sure my main relay is also bad

 

wow... um the main relay conects the fuel pump. it is the same one on ef civics (no matter the model) main relay does not control spark. u can get a main relay at autozone.

I think I pay about $5 for a main relay at the local wreckers when I'm yanking EF parts.. If you have a local yard, try there first.

What about my ECU not throwing codes?....
Im guessing thats related to my main relay?...

Mine was just a wire off the ECU

 

fuel pump relay is what its called at autozone
