You know you are just better of getting the 96-98 wire harness because the P2PA-12 ECU has a Fuel Tank pressure sensor which you car does not have. So you will always have a check engine light, unless you fool the ecu by give that pin a constant .5v. I would just get the dizzy and harness from the OBD2A and it will make life simple.

^ the op's car is a 00... why would he get a 96-98 harness... just use a 99-00 ex harness , dizzy and ecu and you should be fine

I'm just telling him about the CEL he is going to get. I have a CEL right now which is code 91 and that what he will get also. I have a 00' D16Y8 with the 99-00 wireharness and ECU in my 99 Hatchback DX. I am in the middle of trying to fool the ECU so I don't get the 91 CEL.

No, CEL 91 will have no effect at all until you have to do smog. I just don't like seeing a constant CEL while I drive. It annoys me.

not to highjack, but since its part of the subject. How do you make the second o2 connection. I know the ex had the connector from the cab harness. mine is a 96 hx(don't have the y5)
