WTT 1993 del Sol Si for 4th Gen Prelude Si or VTEC
CAR IS SOLD
I'm looking to trade my Milano Red del Sol Si for a 4th or 5th gen Prelude. IT MUST BE MANUAL. It also should have an H22 or H23 (or other DOHC engine).
Anyway, about my car... it has 96,xxx odd original miles, stock D16Z6 and is a 5-speed. There is no rust.
GOOD-
No rust
ZERO ACCIDENTS - perfectly clean title, totally legit
Custom 2.25" exhaust, no fart can
Very low miles (96,xxx)
Has never failed to start
Lowered on Ksports
New tires
New brakes
new rear struts
DC strut tower brace
nice red paint
Enkei RS-6 wheels
Good sticky Kuhmo Ecsta UHP summer tires, about 70% tread left
extremely reliable
Pioneer MP3/WMA/CD audio system
JVC 2-way 6.5" in all four corners
trans shifts smooth, no grinds
Always used Mobil 1 synthetic
Bad-
Small hole in one headlight
A/C does not work
In the pics, it shows a tiny about of body filler in the wheelwell, but that is gone now. They are old pics and since it's winter now, I cannot really take new ones. Imagine the car without that. I welded steel in the hole so it's been done right. It looks great.

So, let me see your Preludes. They must be manual, 4th or 5th gen, decent shape, and have a DOHC engine (no Prelude S's, unless they have a swap).

Oh, I love it. I feel a little bad about trading it, but I need something a timy bit more practical. Del sol = no rear seats. Trunk is big though. Got pics of your 'lude?

Because there is no rust. The pics were from last summer. Don't be a smartass because it will backfire. Try this new thing called "READING THE DESCRIPTION" before you make a fool of yourself.
Here are some nasty grainy nightshots taken from my GF's point and shoot. The pics look terrible, but they show a few things... One, the rust is repaired. Two, it has been repainted and clearcoated and looks pretty much like factory. It's too bad people won't just take my word for it, but whatever... Here's some pics.

I'd do better close-ups, but since it is night under low-pressure sodium lamps (which have an emission spectrum, instead of a continuous spectrum), that combined with the required high ISO settings would make it so fuzzy and blurry you wouldn't even know what you were looking at.

The A/C doesn't work. The system is charged and the compressor *in theory* should function, but the wiring is whack. I never bothered to fix it because it is a convertible and A/C is useless to me. Theoretically, someone could fix it in a few hours for next to nothing but I make no guarantees of that.
Here's a picture of the headlight.

Oh, and as far as the repairs and paint goes, the passenger side is next to perfect. The driver's side could possibly a bit more clearcoat sanding, but most people wouldn't notice anything. I just need to clarify things because those pics were taken at night. I can take day pics if you want, but there really isn't anything to see that would show up on a camera.
Oh, and for the record, if you're going to suggest that I should put money on top, do not bother. I just got a retard offering a black one with a smashed in fender, wrong exhaust, bad airbags, CEL, missing O2 sensor, bad suspension, so on and so forth and he had the audacity to suggest that *I* give *him* money on top. Seriously?
Anyway, the lesson here is that you don't want to be like that guy. If you car is similar in value, we'll do a straight up trade. If your car is *actually* worth more (blueb16-em1 had a nice car), well... I don't really have the money to be blowing on crazy stuff. And if you're like black car guy, jump off a cliff and make the community a better place.
