hey guys i got a 00 si but its im runnin a 96-98 ek9 rhd clip juss recently put my motor in and getting rdy to start it , cranks over but not getting spark, so i unpluged the dizzy and took a volt meter to the motor harness where the dizzy plugs in not getting any power to the dizzy , i checked fuses , ne ideas?????

 

Does the fuel pump prime?

Recheck 15A dash fuse #9. Use your voltmeter to check for voltage at both top test tabs of the installed fuse with the key in ON(II).

 

yes pump primes and i checked with volt meter not getting power also when i turn on my key my gauges jump up to 35 mph i juss tryed a dx ecu so see if it was that and it still didnt start but my gauges dont jump up to 35 now its like 15 mph so iunno ima try n sand the grounds?

 

Again, does fuse 9 have voltage at both top test tabs?

make sure your engine ground is hooked up. I had the same problem and it was 1 ground not hooked up on the engine.

 

The FAQs sticky has very nice fuse box diagrams.

 

I had the same problem mine was a bad ecu
