I think i'll do it myself.... I don't have $1,000 laying around for neato headlights. I do however have some time and nice paint.

I actually messed up a little. I wanted to keep the chorome inside the corner light, but my blue.... PAINTERS.... tape, pealed some off, so I had to paint it. I was pretty bummed.

Shitty camera phone, in the garage after dark... So it looks like I painted them black, they aren't, I used gunmetal wheel paint.

CTR headlights only run about $300. And they have city lights sockets.

Well frankly if they cost more than $50 I aint buying them. pwjdm had them listed for 870 or something...

 

300ish all day. However the older our cars get, so the harder it's going to be to find new headlights.

So I really wouldn't be suprised if the climb that high.

$50 is being an extreme cheapass... i wouldnt pay 1k for headlights either, and id like to see where your finding CTR lights for 300

 

I paid $220 shipped for my CTR lights. *shrug*

The way I see it, CTR lights aren't something you need, so you can afford to wait until the right deal comes along.

Also, PW:JDM sells some items (like the lights) way over what they should. There is no reason to buy brand new lights when a clean set of used ones can look and perform just as well as the new ones.

I would never pay 1k for headlights.

Used ctr lights pop up every now and again.

For me, it comes down to, id like to have them, but I really don't need them.
My ebay blackhoushings are ok for now lol

 

My OE lights worked just fine for me. lol

In fact, I've thought about going back to them.

 

CTR lights new from the dealer in Japan run about $600. I don't know where you guys are getting the $1000 number.

I saw 96-98 lights posted for 800 ish in the past. But I manily see them posted for 600-700, manily below in the 650 range.

I would have never bought ebay lights but I wrecked my car and couldn't find oem lights. I was young and was ohh "jdm". Now I kick myself. They look good, but aren't. Pass side leaks like a siv.

Is it OEM or aftermarket?
My friend had a aftermarket sunroof in his hatch and it leaked like crazy.... The seals were failing left and right.
