Default Left Rear Window Falls Down

I am fairly sure this is a regulator problem, but I am trying to find the correct part to fix this as it seems much simpler than buying a whole regulator.

My window fells down a couple of weeks ago and I had it taped up (it will go all the way up just by using my hands) until today when I pulled the door panel.

Once I had it pulled apart I noticed that there is a track bolted onto the bottom of the window. Inside that track is a small white plastic piece with a hole in the center that glides back and forth in the track. Evidently this is where the arm connected to the motor connects in. I used the window switch to lower the arm to the lowest position and popped the little ball and sock piece on the end of the arm back into the little white piece. Window rolled right back up perfectly. When I lowered the window, the arm popped back out again and the window fell. I tried this a couple more times before I recognized that the small white piece has a crack and doesn't really hold that ball joint from the arm very well.

Do I need to replace the whole regulator to get the white piece fixed or can I just order that tiny piece and move on with life.

I have a 4 door 99 accord EXL 4 cylinder.

Thanks!!

Could do if you really want, I recently had to replace both the back ones, Pretty easy job, But if you wanted, Try partstrain or another good parts bin for the part

Think they are called "regulator sash clips" ? from what your trying to describe ?

Same thing happened to me last weekend except for mine broke on the top plastic piece that has the cable running through it that connected to the motor.

You need a regulator and motor assembly, they don't sell those little plastic pieces separately. You will look around and not find this assembly for less than $85 for an OM part.

Just go to a "You pull it" junk yard and get one. Its kind of a bitch to get the window off the regulator at a junk yard though as the window will probably be rolled up, so you will want to bring a wrench set, a socket set, a small flathead screwdriver, and medium sized phillips, and a pair of gloves. I failed to bring gloves to my endeavor last weekend and ended up with bloody knuckles.

For the assembly, and I grabbed the window channel while I was at it and replace that too, I paid $25

It literally took 5 minutes to install and have my window rolling up again.
