Default difference in intake tube diameters between b16 and b18c5??

If I drop a b18c5 into a EK civic, people say use the intake for the SI, but Im wondering if the diameters will be the same?

99-00 si aem is 2.5" and goes thru the small hole in the fender...aem ITR intake is 3" and will sit right infront of the coolant reserve tank filter closer to the ground...use the Si aem...or a Injen intake for si..it's 3" and goes thru the hole in the fender
