Update III: 01' PY #284....the outcome and aftermaths. A lesson to all you NJ ppl.
So here is the third reply from Jose. I altered the message a bit to be proper. His frustration is greater than the first two! Please excuse some improper language use.
The point is, most NJ/NY ITRs or other valuable cars are probably marked by the thief organization already. In this case, the common phrase on H-T is true: "If they really want it, they will get it"

Ok guys they found the car. As soon as i reported it, LoJack turned it on and within 2 hours later, they recovered the car. Thats one part of the good news.
The way they happened to steal the car was by using a van to push it from Union City to Newark. If you're familiar with the area, thats risky, but they did it anyway(good job cops
for pulling me over for bullshits, but they wont pull over a STOLEN VAN PUSHING A STOLEN ******* YELLOW CAR!!! Go figure!).
They used that same van to break through the gates in my parking garage, and tear out the door of the garage.....(why didn't anybody hear the noise, i dont know)...when the cops finally realized that the car was stolen, it
was kinda too late....
They came up on the guys that stole it and towing the car once again from one spot in Newark, to take the suspension tranny and block, i figure they
didnt have the right tools etc...to do it where they were
By this time, they had already stolen my head, intake manifold, and header....my head worths about $3000, ports polished, injectors, cams, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, and all the NX goodies, and aem intake......my amp was stolen, my gauges in the car, NX bottle, jdm header....and bumber lights......you guys wanna hear the funny part....they were so kind as to give me back a late model, 1.8 integra non v-tec head....how generous!!
Motor, tranny with clutch, flywheel, pistons are still in tact......interior...stole those beautiful suede seats we all love and gave me back some shitt vinyl
ones...can you believe that ****!....i mean come on now, steal it, dont disgrace the ******* thing......stole the type R computer, and the broke the steering column.....
they werent able to start the car at all, i guess that slowed them down a little......rear bumber, and trunk panel destroyed....i tried to take pics for you guys, but the police
pound confiscated my film! !
I would really like to thank all you guys for all your support, youve been a great help......Ray, thansks for the post on that webpage.....the car is getting towed to
my shop tomorow to see if they are going to fix it, or total it.....i hope they fix it, i mean im going to lose money on the head, but if everything gets fixed, ill take my
losses and still have my car.......

ok... i'm new to this term but to push a car it means that they actually had the van driving and a guy in the unstarted r turning the wheel as the van pushed the car?!?!?.... how friggin suspicious can u be damn... we can only hope those guys rat on their fellow theives and he gets his stuff back... damn... people r bastards -rob

We all need to think of a way to start fighting crime in our own communities. I am dead scared already the possible money i can loose from after rebuilding my motor
I hope your friend can get his car back, and build it back up. sorry to hear about such a loss.

guys this is really hard to swallow. when will this **** stop?! when there are no legit, original ITRs left? or until the DC5 to EK swaps become more commonplace? my sympathy for the owner of this R, i just can't believe this

Damn, so sorry to hear that. I don't think I'd want to rebuild my R after all that... Hopefully the insurance can give you a good payout and maybe you can purchase another R.. Good luck, and DIE YOU ***** ****** BASTAD THIEVES!!

Atleast you got most of her back. Now you can get some race seats, get a new B16 head and build that bitch back up. Hopefully your insurance company will help you out and not take a year to do so.

And thats a true story?I crapped my draws that night,and to think I came so close to trying to grabb the kids out of the car at a light,if I had gone thru with it I might not be here today writing this post,my friend was saying we were ****** but I knew you can't try these cats around there they pack heat.

if any of you guys call the cops when your cars getting broke into, you may have to stretch the truth a bit to get there. something along the lines of, "They are breaking into my car right now, i've got my 12 guage shot gun out and loaded, if the police aren't here in 5 minutes, i'm going to hop out my door and start letting out some buck shot on them. or tell them that you nieghbor went out to confront the guys stealing stuff, and they shot him..heh, anything with guns and death, police start moving quickly....

On that note,there worthless newark cops,My friend had just bought a mint 95GSR milano red with black leather,a sight to see car was gorgeous,this was back in 99,he leaves it in montclair NJ for about 5 minutes in broad day light it gets stolen,we decide to go right to Newark,we new they would be joy riding around right past the PIGS all night while they stuff there fat faces with COFFEE & DONUTS,what do you know the minute we get into the real sh*t war zone area there goes to kids barley able to see over the dash cruising around in it,we followed them for hours as they showed all the stunnas in the hood the whip they stole YO,we even had the cops right there and they wouldn't do a thing,just get out of here before someone gets hurt,we then decided to take control of the situation and try to take it back,we follow the kid to a dark street and he pulls out a friggin UZY,we hid under the dash of my boys TL and let him go,he then keeps driving around the same area as we tell the cops again this kid is driving around with an automatic weapon and a stolen car,they said get out of here before someone gets hurt,I assume they went for more COFFEE&DONUTS after that.What are some of these cops good for?Busting minors in the park having a beer!!!Writing parking tickets!!!!And harrassing inocent people.
