big brake kits
I have to get a new set of calipers in the rear of my car and while im at it im just do the fronts aswell with a big brake kit but i can't seem to find any upgraded big brake kits for the rears aswell as fronts. any suggestions on websites etc or a good company would be greatly appreciated.
not yet. im staying away from a full build till i have a good set of brakes and suspension taken care of. everrything im buying now is in preparation for a heavy build.
Honestly big break kits are for ricers how big you wanna go cause you have to look at a bigger wheel size like probably 17s to fit around the calipers..
Either way there's no need for that kit me n the team I used to roll with had a hatch with 650 whp and we were running itr breaks with drilled rotors and they held up just fine and still able to run 15 16s and look good

well some of the wilwoods you can still run 16's. im not looking for anything too crazy. the trend is seeming to lean towards the itr calipers and just buy drilled and slotted rotors. im not hard on the brakes so i dont have to worry about cracking.

yeah i appreciate the suggestions. i've heard oem can handle alot. type r calipers on a gsr is a little extra work. researching on it i have to machine the caliper bracket down 3mm so it doesn't rub because the type r 5 lug sticks out a little further than the gsr caliper OR convert the whole spindle to the type r 5 lug.
Search for " x brakes on y car" here on htech or google it with the word integra or civic in the search
A lot of oem options even two piston acura legend gs brakes with 11 inch prelude rotors just a little machining needed. But a machine shop will do it for 20 bucks

yeah that's what i mean. the common thing is taking 3mm off the back of the bracket to fit. not too hard. waiting for the tax return money before i start buying up all the stuff im gonna need.
BBK should be a last resort if anything,
Try better pads
Better lines
Better fluid
Ducting
Refurbished calipers
The rears dont even need to be upgraded, just replaced in ur case.

Ditto the above^^^
Upgrade what you have, rebuild or replace with stock calipers, replace brake lines with braid SS lines, upgrade the rotors and pads, [Power Stop rotors Hawk brake pads] upgrade brake fluid.
After that the limiting factor will be the tires, the brakes will outperform any tires you put on the car, spend the money you save on better tires and suspension components. 94
