Pics taken with the Cannon Elph S330, I got the yellow tint from raising the exposure to its highest at nite, on custom shot..

slow shutter speeds = get a tripod / less shaky hands

And what would you recommend for night time shooting? My friends digital camera does not enjoy the dark, and it takes extremely horrible pictures at night time, even in a well light area.

And here I thought I was going to be the only one to be really paying attention to the pinstriping...then I scrolled down . That's a pretty good indication of how much it distracts a person's eye when looking at the car.

Car looks good though, if you are shooting with a 35mm camera try using 800 iso/speed film and you may not have to buy a tripod or worry much about low light. 800 iso/speed film is what I used at Hot Import Nights and it worked out well for me.

Bogen/Manfrotto 3031B (for that JDM look heheh) is what I use. Works pretty good. I'd recommend a Bogen 3265 grip-action head for it. r0x0r. Can probably pick up both pieces for under $200.

you should be able to jack up the exposure, or lower the shutter speed, make sure its well lit, dont use flash... youll get some pretty decent pics that way...

and it is a digital camera, no film was used, 1600x1200 in superfine

i like the "blurred" appearance, infact i shook the cam a bit to make it do that, i have some plain clear ones, but they arent as fun, they are just boring looking....

I'd recommend you change to a more sensitive "film" setting on your digi camera. ISO400 at least, if your camera has that option to change the film speed. Your pics will come out more noisy/grainy, but the higher the ISO, the more sensitive it is to light, so you don't have to crank the shutter open for as long. That way you can run an F2.X and still get decent pics at 1/20th shutter... Anything below 1/20th and you'll probably need a tripod.

If your camera doesn't let you screw with the F-stop or shutter speed, set it to the SCN or Twilight+ mode or whatever it's called on your camera and stick the thing on a tripod.
