Here's my build for my VW Lupo Gti. I know you guys don't get the Lupo in the US; one of the folks from here in the UK called it a "mini Golf". That, in my view, couldn't be further from the truth. The torque/weight ratio is awesome - 130 ft/lbs per 1000kgs at peak torque 3.5k rpm! This is a brilliant little daily driver and country road blaster (our local roads are what we call "The Stockie" hence the name). Heres the spec and the plans:

If you've never driven/been driven in one you have to!! They are genuinely amazing torquey little cars. Just thought you might like the jdm touch as my first and other car is a v6ed 1990 mr2 I'd posted pictures of a while back. I think this forum is true inspiration and why I really fell in love with Rega's in the first place.

I don't think I have ever heard torque/weight as a perfomance measure, even though it makes a lot of sense.

From now on, when people ask how car my fast is, I will say it makes 312ft-lbs/1000kg.
