Upper strut bars.
Not the best welder (I'm OK).. but I know one of the best. My grandpa welded on damns for years heading up there in a month or so.. I should have the metal cut and everything ready by then. thinking of a 3 point front, and 4 point rear.. Thanks..
I'd skip the 3 pt to the firewall, its not much of a reinforcement. Fender braces would be much more effective.
And I don't see a point in bracing the rear shock towers. There's not much going on back there.

ahh, good thread. I'll put that in the road racing faq. I don't always check that forum for the load of general questions.
I have struts in the rear and that is more than good enough talk to convince me to put one back there.

My fiance has class late tonight.. so after work going to get started on building one.. I also need to move the fuse box some to accomadate it nicely. I was originally going with the NGR design.. Looked at the Password JDM one and they look the same.
Fender braces + 3 point shock tower to firewall bar = winner! (as long as the 3 point gets into something solid and not just flimsy sheet metal firewall)
That ties in all sorts of flex vertically and horizontally.
