If you go 0.5mm over you will need to get 81.5mm bore pistons and rings.

I dont think you really grasp the concept of what honing is. The machinist will only shave off a couple thousandths(probably spelled that wrong) from the cylinder walls to put on a nice cross hatched pattern for the piston rings to wear down when they are broken in.

Also, why are you putting in new pistons and rods? Unless you want to change the pistons for something with higher compression, just get new rings. As far as rods go unless its scored from running low on oil, or bent get new rod bearings. Same with the crankshaft, new bearings and you'll be good to go. No need to spend money you dont have to.

You will use standard 81mm bore pistons and rings providing all you do is have the block honed. Just check the gap on the rings when its assembled and make sure it is with in spec. All oem honda rings are gapped from the factory, so the likelyhood of you needing to gap them is slim to none.
