That fabric is not the same as those rear seats. It would probably work just fine, but it wouldn't be the same. The holes have a different pattern to them.

I've been looking for some DC2 fabric, and Honda, Acura, and Capital Seating all told me you can't buy it because Recaro has a trademark on it. Good luck finding some. You're probably better off buying the red alcantara from Capital Seating and that jersey mesh you saw. It won't be an exact match, but it will look a lot better than now.

you think you could use the material from the black itr rear seats. just bleach them and try to dye it?

Yeah you should compare the mesh material to the stuff on your oem itr seats.Recaro jersey mesh is weaved differently.Jersey mesh is really hard to find and expensive also.Fabrics are discontinued after certain years. The stuff on the sides also isn't alcantara. Alcantara is really fade resistant.Compare them to your oem itr rears and you'll see they are different in material and stitch detail.

only cost efficient way i see is buy this: OEM Recaro material door inserts.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-01...ht_5686wt_1167

which is more than enough to fix the tops..
as for making it red again, only way i see fit is bleach the black, white.. and then red, hoping to get the same shade.

if that's the case, buy some beat to hell door panels for cheap and put the material to good use.

i agree they are fake. the material that was used for the center inserts are tweed and my father own a upholstery and the double stitch is not straight because the didnt use a double stitch machine. and i call all dad material suppliers trying to get the same material to fix my seats and i cant get it. i was fliping threw one of the material books they go by year and in the 01 book there was the black itr material that was used

You have a hook up on the center fabric for the ITR seats? I haven't been able to find it ANYWHERE. I've been looking for several years with no luck at all.
