Just Did FRESH Rear Disc Conversion on my Hatch HAVING ISSUES !!!! LOOK PLS!!!!

Default Just Did FRESH Rear Disc Conversion on my Hatch HAVING ISSUES !!!! LOOK PLS!!!!

this is the third rear disc swap i have done on a hatch/rex and this one went a smooth as milk.....New rotors pads calipers bushings ans cables...the problem is the emergency brake is only ingauging the pass side but not the drivers the cables are adjusted properly the lever on the caliper moves alot more then the pass side when you pull the brake because the pass side IS engauging.... could it be possible the rear driver side is bad they are honda remanufactured claipers?????? please help i need the e-brake......

which cables did you use? nothing is binding?

I'd say that they are not routed correctly and this is what they are not engaging.

Hey Toad good to see you still helpin peeps out (u helpd me out many years ago) no its no the routing everything is like factory installed the problem is definatly in the actual caliper..... the e-brake lever is moving alot more on the caliper that is not worrking properly then on the one that does work.... its like the lever moves but does nothing........i can move the rotor with my fingers even though the lever is moving alot.....

there is no binding what so ever i used the needed 90-93 integra cables and routed them like factory......not being a dick but this aint my first rodeo...and definatly not my first ef

Hummm strange. In the world of rebuild parts these days I'd say that you have a bad caliper. I find more and more defective parts from the major parts stores these days. In fact I just had a dead battery right off the shelf, and then 2 bad alternators.

i know what u mean.... and to think they are factory nissin HONDA parts from honda well i guess anything can happen.....
