Hey guys. I'm working on a NA J series build and need some help with getting measurements off of cam gears that I don't have on hand to check.

I would like to know the dimensions of the center hole (diameter & depth) and keyway for whatever Honda cam gears you might have on hand; H,K,B,D, or F series. I'm hoping that some or one of these have the same dimension nose and keyway so that I can adapt a pair to the J32 gears; starting from scratch on a lathe is possible but not preferred.

Also, if you don't mind taking the time to do a tooth count and overall diameter measurement, that would be nice to have. I presume there is little chance that any other engine series uses dimensions identical to the J series but it would be nice to be sure before trying to fabricate one from scratch or adapt the center of another adjustable gear to the J series gear.

 

Ok, B series is ruled out; keyway is the same but cam nose diameter is just under 8/10ths of an inch.

J Cam nose diameter is ~1.045".
