Does anyone know what engine coolant I would use for a 2000 1.8 Honda Accord V-Tech (UK). Or can I just use any premixed Anti Freeze? I need to top up my expansion tank.

i'm sure someone will say i'm wrong but i don't see why you wouldn't be able to use the 50/50 mixed anti-freeze. thats what i use

 

nothing wrong with it but i prefer oem honda

 

You can use any kind really. Just use one kind though, because mixing coolant brands can have unintended results. If your car is filled with factory, use factory. Makes life easier, and OEM stuff tends to last longer.

 

Thanks for this. I have no idea what is in there at the moment though. May have to take a chance that in an 11 year old car, people have mixed and matched. I may just try the Honda stuff.
