Icon6 2004 hybrid grinding noises

My 2004 hybrid is making nasty grinding noises in the drive belt area.I tried to figure out where the noise is coming from but I have no clue.I noticed the belt has some slight fraying so that needs to be replaced but other than that, what can it be?

If it's right by the belts it's probably one of the accessories' or the bearing(s) in one going out. Could also be timing belt. If your around 100K then you need to change the timing belt/water pump anyways. Take your screwdriver and put the head on the part you want to check and your ear on the handle. You'll hear it, there's no mistaking the sound of a bad part. * Be very careful of moving parts when doing this and don't wear loose clothing or jewelry.
