Like from a Monroe Muffler or such places - like a custom bent system? Not looking for anything "cool" just a new exhaust (supplying my own muffler ) How much do you think this would run for a 92 - 4 door civic? Complete from header back (probably running no cat) Thanks!

 

If you're looking for an average muffler shop to do a 2.25 crush bent system from the cat back, should only be about 100 bucks. If you're looking for a mandrel bent system, it's going to be expensive. Whatever your do, be sure to buy a resonator.

 

I paid about $120 for mine on my 4 door civic.

 

paid 125 for my crush bent system.. on a hatchback

 

Just had one made for my H22A CX. Sounds aweful man.

 

The shops around where I live charged about 60 to 80 bucks for crush bent. I had to go to like 4 different places to find mandrel bent. It costed me about 265 with a 18" resonator. Even though its custom, it sounds good as hell! I have the ES muffler for it.

Not the best looking but it gets the job done. Custom 3" all the way with a 3" cat, resonator and 3" turbo ultra flow muffler. Got it from a friend for 100 bucks. And yes this is for a four door civic.

 

Well like I said I want it from the HEADER back... I want everything. How big of a resonator will I need - just tell them a stock size size or what? I would prefer to run Mandrel bent... looks like Friday im going to have a fun job of calling around and finding some prices

I take it for $60 its crush bent? Is it going to matter if im not running like a turbo and ****? I mean is there going to actually be HP lost on a crush bent over mandrel in the UNDER 200hp range?

 

From the header back? well its pretty much the same thing cuz this connects to my downpipe!!! you should just buy some mandrel bent pieces from JC whitney and weld them yourself.

 

custom piping best bang for the buck imo...thats what i got and me like mucho

 

well on my 2dr civic..i got 2.50 custom manifold back..and it was $140 mandel bent... i have no resonator..and it sounds good.

 

I went with an Exhaust Shop jod on my old CRX.
$125 for a 2.25" crush bent aluminized pipe with a mid-resonator and my supplied Dynomax muffler. Cheap, light, and quickly done

 

where the hell are you guys getting your pipeping done at that is so expensive i got 2 1/4 pipeping done for $40 mandrel bent

On your h22 5th gen, get the apexi N1 cat back. Its 2 1/2 piping (anything bigger your going to lose mad torque, because of lost outgoing air velocity). Its loud, and sounds sweet as hell, proven gains. Your looking at 500-550.

 

Is there anything cheaper that will not sound as loud? i would prefer a custom exhaust cause i think its cheaper but im not sure yet.
