vafc's are childs play...
Excuse my novice question but is the Hondata computer able to completely replace what the v-afc does? People seem to think very highly of Hondata.

yes, and more
VAFC=fuel tuning, vtec crossover, nothing more
Hondata=everything an ECU does....fuel, timing, rev limits, etc etc

So the only differnce is that you need to pop the hood to get at the computer each time you need to tune the car? I guess it doesn't matter since you probably don't want to be playing with the settings while driving anyways (unless you're a stunna and want to look cool). Am I on the right track here? Are you even able to modify the setttings or do you need a special machine/computer to do it? I'm asking because eventually I'd like to build my bottom end up for a 200whp setup.
You plug a laptop in to the box hondata gives you to interface with the ECU. You can run an emulator and tune on the fly with the laptop. Check out the september issue of Sport Compact car. They've got some pics.

depends on which stage you have. stage 2 has to be tuned by a dealer. stage 4 can be tuned with a laptop computer (on a dyno of course), and stage 4 can also tune stage 2....

T portflow valve train keeps me going tho
Valvetrain doesnt save ****.
Your timing belt is what keeps things going and unless its real tight you will
bend something in a situation like that.
Remember, you arent worried about FLOAT you are worried about retarded
exhaust cam timing which causes the damage.
