there is no such thing.
If you really want 6spd, then swap in a K.

why the hell do you want a close ratio 6 speed for a turbo car? get an f22 trans and call it a day.

cause i want the QUICK speed as well as a good TOP END speed so its easier to do it with 6 gears......and i i have an f22 and an h23 tranny...what makes the f22 so special....i didnt find anything special about the gearing?

my thing is we see these companies making d series and b series tranny kits to bolt to our h series motors. why not a k series adapter? is it way to different for them to make one? it really is just a plate.....

If i am not mistaken i thought the K series motors rotates differently from H series. Thats why we can use B's and D's. The newer F's rotate the same way as a K thats why you see F2K out there

There's not much market for transmissions that have 6 reverse gears and 1 forward gear.

true it does. still doesnt mean it cant be done. by adding a plate you need a longer crank shaft for the tranny to connect, in which you could incorporate a gear in the plate to change the rotation from reverse to forward. its going to be expensive, but its not completely impossible.

lol....for the complications and B.S. and cost involved in making that, do you really think it's THAT advantageous to have a 6 speed? You could also get a custom built trans for that much trouble/cost.

You'd have to make a custom housing, prototype a system that would be overly complicated, and would result in more gear power loss. Sounds like...a lot of trouble to swap in a stock K series trans. And if you're making a custom housing...why would you stuff it with stock K20 trans internals? Why wouldn't you just stuff it with a custom gear set that you could design to actually fit the housing...instead of designing a housing specifically to fit K20 gears with some insane countershaft thingy?

There's no market for it.

really no market? i think if it at all possible to swap to 6 speed with a plate kit not an actually full housing, even the b series and d series people would pick up on it. sure the drag racing market wouldnt really buy into it. i think road coarse and track racers would pick it up. you only adding one gear I(think of it as a pulley) you wont loose much power buy one more spinning part. true cost would be a huge factor. im not saying its going to happen or im even going to attempt it, but its not at all impossible to do.

after all some people have created even crazier h series transmissions.
