Default Worth it? Eibach Sportline Springs

I have an 95 Si civic hatch...basically no suspension upgrades from stock. Somone offered to sell a set of Eibach Sportline springs they had for 50$ obo.

Just wondering if this alone could be used for effect or if I should save my money for coilovers. My current springs have at least 150k on them.

1.6 inch drop.
A forum search basically told me some like, some don't and I might need some new aftermarket shocks.

Basically put if they work well in conjunction with anything I'm liable to buy I'll buy them if I can.
25-50$ is a pretty good deal.

For 50 bucks, I would buy them.

Aftermarket shocks would be ideal.

They would be nice for the time being until you save the cash to upgrade to the coilovers you mentioned. It will add a nice look as well as some performance.
