Whine coming from Belt side of motor (video)
i have 93 civic with a stock b16a in it, About a week ago i started hearing a whine coming from the motor ever now and again. this week the whine gets louder and its constant. The higher the RPM's the higher pitch the sound is. Its not a belt screech or anything i have heard before. i have video:

Also I took the Valve cover off and looked at the timing belt and to see if anything is rubbing and everything looks good. TBelt didn't feel really tight. Gonna get it professional checked out and I'll let y'all know what is was
Pull all your accy belts and see if the whine is still there. If it is, I suspect the timing belt is too tight (or tensioner bearing is bad). If not, check to see if your distributor bearing is going bad by removing it and see if its hard to turn by hand.
Good luck
Good luck
Update. The noise is defiantly coming from the ac compressor or the ps pump. Haven't had a chance to mess with it. Been super busy. But I wanted to fill y'all in. I realize that the noise sound like a bad bearing. I'm gonna do the above suggestion in a couple days
