Looked in the FAQ and also searched and couldn't find a thread talking about DIY tire rotation.
FYI the car is a 1995 EX 2door auto. Just got some new tires and they've been driven about 5000 miles so I thought it'd be good idea to rotate them. They've been balanced at a shop that mounted the new tires. And I believe for FWD we do the forward cross pattern:

And I thought about buying another set of jack-stands to try to put all 4 corners up on jack-stands but thought that'd be too dangerous. So here's the method I came up with using one jack and two jack stands:
1. Jack left or right side of car up in the middle (is this possible?)
2. Switch the tires on that side
3. Repeat step 1-2 for the other side
4. Jack up front of car in the regular, front-middle jack point and switch the front two tires in the front
I know it's time consuming but this is the method I came up with. Unless there's a safe way to put the car up on all 4 jackstands?

Its not really dangerous to put the whole car up on stands man. Just as long as you have a little common sense and put the stands up under the frame and at equal point so its not off centered..
you can put the car up on 4 jack stands. When I do, I just give the car a nudge to make sure it's sturdy on the jack stands before going under it.
When I rotate or change my tires I only use 2 stands and a jack. I lift and support the front, remove the tires and move them to where I want them to go in the back, then I jack up the back, remove 1 side at a time and put the next tire on right away. The back of the car is only jacked up like this for a matter of 5-8 minutes.

I use one jack stand and my floor jack, start @ the front left and put a jack stand there. Move that tire to left rear, take left rear tire to right front, take right front to right rear, take right rear to left front. Am done in 20 mins
i just used to the spare in the trunk, take off one tire, put the spare on, bring the removed to the corner i wanted to put it and replace it, just gotta mark 'em to keep yerself in order thats all.
