Default honda civic eg hatch headlight problem

hey guys well i have a eg hatch dx and out of no were my head lights went out and the bulbs are good. now when i flik on the high beams they still dont work but if i hold the switch in place for the high beams the high beams will turn on but once i release it wont stay on. now i dont know what it can be can any one help out in any way. oh also if this helps my corner lights turn on and off with the switch

please if anyone can help i would grately appreciate it

check the fuses. maybe by some chance both blew.

Sounds like a problem with the Combination Light Switch, to test, check for power, [test light or meter] at the 2 low beam and 2 high beam fuses.

Because you can get the high beams to come on, through flash to pass switch would indicate main light fuse, [engine bay fuse box] is good, so check for power at the 4 fuses in the under dash fuse box. 94
