HELP!! ....93 eg2..D16z6
so i guess the car i just bought has been having this grinding issue coming from the tranny....its not the gears grinding...previous owner said its been like that and that there shouldnt be a problem at all cuz he's been driving it with that noise for awhile now...but the noise just seems to be getting louder n louder..supposedly he replace a brand new exedy OEM clutch no longer that six months ago..but i think he did a bad job thats y its making that noise..as soon as u start it up , u could hear it coming straight from the tranny..the gears dont grind at all, shifts completely fine..but when put in gear, and start to accelerate, its starts to make grinding sounds..all gears makes this noise..sounds similar to bad brake pads,,but except coming from the tranny..was told it could be the pressure plate..also thinkin that it could be one of the bearings gone bad...dont know which bearing though...so i'm nut really a car nut, so decided to research on here if any of u guys out there has had a similar issue?any suggestions...or help?!! thanks ...
Of it makes noise with the clutch pedal depressed the throwout/release bearing is bad. If it makes noise with the clutch engaged (up) then one or more of the 5 bearings in the transmission is bad.
