Default Decal Placement

When I bought my 02 taffeta white Si civic it didnt have the "I-vtec dohc" stickers on the rear quarter panels. Ive been considering getting a set to put on, as I kind of like how they look and they help distinguish it from the aveos and yaris. lol however I'm not sure how to place them correctly. Any advice on how to apply them?

I'd just leave the stickers off, personally. But I'm sure you can find a sticker template which shows you measurements either from the dealership or in the Helms manual.

I find it weird how an EP3 can even be compared in looks to a Yaris or Aveo...

But anyways as for the decals, clean the surface where you want to put them. Mix some windex and water in a spray bottle. Use more water then windex when making the solution! Then spray the area where you are going to place the sticker and place the sticker on it.

Reason for solution is that you can now move the decal around to try and get it as straight as possible. Get yourself a soft plastic tool (I posted a picture of it) which will help remove the solution from under the decal and help stick the decal to the car. After just remove the film off the decal and voila!

On second thought, I'd just take it to the Stealership and let them deal with it. If they mess it up (instead of you messing it up) just b*tch until they fix it.

Sounds like a headache. But I'm a perfectionist and I could see this driving me crazy to attempt this haha.

It sound hard but really its not... the hardest part is making the decal perfectly straight after that its easy peesy lemon squeezy lol

Thanks for all the imput. As for the aveo yaris comment I made, personaly I think the only way they're similar is because they're both a three door, completely different stance. However my friend always gives me **** for mistaking aveos for my car, and its made me insecure. Lol not sure if I will get them or not, but thanks again for the ideas

Putting on Decals is easy. Just tape the top part up and mount both sides in place so you can judge it and make sure.

Then peel back and squeegy down

Probably word for word what I would suggest. Or even like his other post, just have the stealership do it
