My cousin is after buying a spoon pwo ecu for his jdm CRX SiR, the car is stock except for intake (short ram) and 2.5" blitz exhaust, we were trying to figure out if he should wait till he gets ITR/CTR cams and header before installing it, as the vtec now comes on song at around 4200rpm compared to stock 5000rpm, (we had it in for a day) the car now pulls very hard right up to the 8000-8200rpm mark and his gas needle never moved so fast before!! This is a genuine spoon ecu, not a stock one with a spoon copy chip. so the question is, will running this ecu do harm with his mods, or should he just stick it in there and get his header & cams when ever he gets enough money?
