Ok guys Im new at building manaul transmission but get the idea of it. I searched and found nothing anyways Im taking a class right now where im in the process of tearing down my 94 JDM gsr trans Non lsd. cracked it open and found out the shift change assembly was cracked in half. Well i have brand new trans that i will be replacing so i just want to do the most budget rebuild on this thing. It just so happens that in the shop we had a ls hydo trans laying a round and it had the shift change assembly. Now when i call acura i found out the the piece is the same part number for all b-series trans 92-01. So im all good there, when inspecting 3/4 hub and sleeve I saw it was messed up. My question is it possible to use the ls sleeve and hub in replacement of my gsr one? please let me know also i will be swapping the reverse gear as it looks identical. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks

 

Yes, but you need to use the LS 3/4 gears and 3/4 shift fork with it. If you want to keep the GSR gears, order a new 3rd gear sleeve assembly.

 

SO your telling me that i cant use the gsr 3/4 gears with the ls hub and sleeve?? dammn this sucks i want to keep the cost down do happen to know anybody with a gsr hub and working sleeve combo?? please let me know thanks
