Here is some picture of the 10 point roll cage that was completed on rob's rsx from team xxx racing cage was all bent in house by us at Precision Fabrication.

Looks pretty good, just not a fan of the halo bar. Also, you want to tie the rear down bars in with where the halo bar meets the main hoop. Other then that, looks really nice.

 

looks nice is it chromemoly? and can you pm price on a 10pt 8.5 for a dc2?chromely and parachute mount...same as this but for dc2..

 

Looks good.. In my opinion the halo bar is the best when it comes down to making the tight down bars

 

Does look like you kept it tight. How do you mock up bends, or do you use bendpro/gauges?

 

Bendtech pro and gauges .. Ive done a good amount of cages in the past but they were all pre-bent ones, finally had enough cash to get a good/decent bender and software.

 

Cage looks great. Are you gonna do a window net? And do you have pics on how you mounted the seats?

 

customer did not choose to do a window net at this time car will be back in the future for a few add on like window net and parachute mount.

And as for the seat I might have a picture of them mounted somewhere on my computer but not sure. He had some buddy club rails that were made to mounted to them and I just made the back support.

 

Gottcha, did you tig or mig the base plates?

 

Mig'd the base palte to the car and tig'd the cage to the plates.

Next time think about rounding the corners on your mounting plates, those sharp corners will act like can openers under the right conditions.

 

I agree it makes it easier to make the down bars tight. But if you can mess with angles and bend the a pillar bar in one piece from the main hoop to the floor it looks way better and will be tighter fit. Then add a single top front cross bar with bends in it to get it out of sight.
