suspension question ! need help
yo guys i'm trying to ride slammed on gc's and i got pretty low . im on oem struts right now but im bout to go tokico . my boy said the reason the rear isnt as low as the front could be because the struts are blown or seized? is this possible? thanks a lot!
If you are maxed out you are maxed out and cant go any lower. If you just set the ride heigth then you need to let it settle and drive around and it should go lower. By GC's I take it you are using ground control coilovers. But they should be able to go all the way down bro
hah if the struts were blown you'd be riding super low. and you'd know it.
the reason they aren't as high usually is there is no engine pushing down on backside. its also just usually how they are. my rears are higher then my fronts. not by much but a lil.

Why is there a sudden flood of people wanting to slam civics to the ground in the past few days?
To each their own.
To OP...yes...if you're riding that low and struts were blown you wouldn't be asking any questions on here you would know it. I had blown struts on an older toyota I drove as a daily for a bit and if I had my 12's in the back, or a person in the back seat...**** would scrape on EVERY bump with stock height.

Blown dampers do not affect ride height. Distance from LCA to spring perch, spring length, and spring rate affects ride height.
