NEW YORKERS: Suspension Setups?
I'm thinking about getting some sort of suspension, but not sure what I really want since up here in the north there's a crap load of potholes, and in the winter I don't want the car to ride too low cus of the damn snow. Anyone got any suggestions?

I use APEXi WS coilovers in the rough urban terrain. Good compromise between handling and ride comfort, plus you have hieght adjustability so no worries on being too low or too high.

KYB AGX with ground controls. Great ride. If you can afford it though, get some Teins. My buddy's got em and they ride real good.

I live in Philly, but I know the roads are bad in NY especially in the winter. I have KYB adjustables, and Neuspeed race springs 2.25 drop in the front and 2.00 in the back, I don't really have problems, I just try to avoid any pot hole, but NY potholes, I don't know...

I say some H & R coilovers- soft spring rates but good shocks. Or soem Apexi World Sport Dampers. Adjustable and should ride fine on those bumpy roads

I live in Buffalo so I know what you're talking about. I have a set of adjustable coil-overs on my car and I just raise it in the winter when I put my snow tires and old crappy OEM rims on, and then lower it back down again in the Spring when I put my nice rims on it only takes about 2 minutes each coil-over when you've got the car jacked up and wheels off already.

RG (Racing Gear) true coilovers with 12kfront/10k rear springs, stock si front bar, itr 22 mm rear bar. the ride quality is surprisingly good, probably because i still have full travel (adjustable bottom portion of shock, used for cornerweighting) what do you do with your car?

i live in NJ but am in Staten Island every week. I am running tein ss's set at the 1/2 war dampining (8/16) and its still harsh there. If i lived in new york i would have probably went with something a little cheaper.
