Default 97 Civic hatch upgraded piping

I upgraded the piping on my civic hatch to 2.5 from the cat back because i liked how it sounded on my integra but after upgrading it on the civic it sounds the same both cars are using the stock muffers and the integra is an ls.

Is it because its a single? Because of the exhaust? or because of how the headers are on the civic?

Does it still have the stock D? If so that would be my guess.

As a forum member here always states "D-series engines respond poorly to bolt-ons". That being said it goes to follow that upgrading piping just for sound didn't increase performance so no change in sound.
