Car wont rev or move but goes into gear help!

Car wont rev or move but goes into gear help!
This morning when i started my car i tried to back up and my car wouldnt rev up at all..it was almost like the gas pedal was disconnected. The clutch grabs and it goes into gear so i know its nothing with the clutch or tranny. Not sure what could Have happened it was driving fine yesterday..any suggestions? Ill check it out when i get home. Thanks
